Psiog launched Psiog Samvaad – Season 1 with an inspiring conversation titled “Rhythm of Leadership – How Musical Discipline Translates into Management Excellence.”
The inaugural edition brought together Kumar Sivaraman, CEO of Psiog, and Padma Vibhushan awardee Dr. Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman, a maestro of the mridangam and a living legend of Indian classical music. Across a remarkable career spanning more than eight decades, his mastery, innovation, and lifelong dedication have helped redefine the grammar of rhythm in Carnatic music. A rare recipient of all three Padma honours from the Government of India and one of India’s most decorated percussionists, he brings together the precision and curiosity of a scientist with the sensitivity of an artist—constantly experimenting, refining, and expanding the possibilities of laya. Through an engaging dialogue, the two explored how the principles that shape excellence in music can offer valuable lessons for leadership, professional growth, and life.
